[Bug 540834] [NEW] Lucid daily live build does not get past Plymouth

Submission failed once already (why make it so fracking difficult to
report an unknown bug?) so cba writing shedloads again.

The lucid daily live CDs from the 16th and 17th fail to get past plymouth on boot from the CD (this is not an installed issue). The 5 dots change color and then nothing. I have left it sitting for half an hour and still nothing, so it's definitely stuck. This has happened with about 3 reboots for each build so it's (probably) not a race condition as suggested for other nouveau/plymouth bugs.

I cannot do anything to change the status of the machine, such as
switching to a TTY or recovery console. There are not key commands that
I have found which do anything to the system.

My system is a dual-monitor setup running off a GTX 260, 8gb ram, AMD
Athlon II X4 940... so it's not a resources issue.

Not sure how I might get logs from anything, but give me ideas and I'll
do my best to test (I have other things to do over the next few days).
