The analog *internal* mic input is working. That was a bit off-topic, it
just makes the issue less severe for me. The USB audio comes and goes
between reboots. Within a session (I will have to double-check for boot)
it stays. I wonder how I can debug this. Comparing the alsa-info.sh
debug output from a good/bad case I can not find any difference.
I thought it was a kernel problem since it coincided with kernel
updates/downgrades but now I have seen it be both good and bad on the
same -16 kernel, I think it might be pulseaudio.
