[Bug 254589] Re: ubuntu doesn't recognise usb drives

This problem exists for me on a Thinkpad T61 with a new Karmic
installation.  USB worked with a fresh installation today, then stopped
working after the updates.  dmesg attached, will attach lspci-vvnn.log
next.

$ uname -a
Linux starling 2.6.31-20-generic #57-Ubuntu SMP Mon Feb 8 09:05:19 UTC 2010 i686 GNU/Linux
