[Bug 470461] Re: karmic crash on battery use

I have performed an suspend to disk and wakeup.
the file /var/log/kern.log.0 is absent on my system. I attach /var/log/kern.log instead (don't know if that  helps)
the commandline 
cp -r /proc/acpi /tmp
(permission denied)
could not be executed. also when i alter to
sudo cp -r /proc/acpi /tmp
(device or resource busy)
