- Ubuntu Lucid, fully updated to current patches, running the linux-

  image-2.6.32-16-generic kernel.
  
  When i boot into the latest version 2.6.32-16.25, the system becomes
  barely usable, with compiz running on an ATI Radeon HD 4650.
  
  Takes around 4 seconds for the menu to open, and a further 5 seconds for
  a program to open once i click on it, also the compiz effects show in
  delayed frames that basically makes the program freeze.
  
  Also its making my system freeze every couple of seconds.
  
  But if i load the 2.6.32-15.22 version, my computer runs smoothly.
  
  Please let me know if you need to see any more logs.
