Upgraded to kernel 2.6.31.20-generic, using the Update Manager. My BIOS
was already the latest available (1.0G). I tested the webcam first in
CrunchBang Linux to make sure it was enabled on my U100. Rebooted into
UNR 9.10, checked to make sure uvcvideo wasn't still blacklisted (I had
done that previously to make the usb ports work), and it wasn't.
Unfortunately, cheese was still telling me "no camera found".

Hoping that all was wrong was the video settings, I tried the "sudo
gstreamer-properties" command in a terminal (note: it's gstreamer, not
gstreamers), set the video output to X11/XShm/Xv, but it still doesn't
work. I'm not willing to start over again with a clean install (10.04
is coming out soon enough), but I would be interested to know if anyone
else managed to get their Wind videocam working with some other tweak.
