I tried again with 10.04... After much rebooting I got it to load and
thus here are the apport logs...
One thing that has been suggested is switching the SATA controller mode
from AHCI to Compatibility under BIOS.
However, I'm a little reluctant to do this as it may cause issues with
my XP install. Moreover, as far as I can tell linux, as of kernal
2.6.19, should support AHCI, no?
