[Bug 598645] [NEW] [945gme] Backlight off after resume from suspend

The issue is simple:
just close the lid of my netbook and wait until it suspends.
open the lid and wait for it to power up. the machine is running but now backlight. I can "see" that something is on the screen.
After digging through the forums I found a workaround: just change the brightness with Fn+F3 or Fn+F4.
The strange thing is that this didn't happen with 9.10 or 10.4 (updated from 9.10). I had to reinstall the machine (broken HDD) and this started to happen.
I saw similar reports but not quite the same.
