  Binary package hint: cheese

not just a cheese bug, v4l2 reports the built in cam on my Dell Studio
  1747 is busy.

Note that following the directions in
  https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libv4l/+bug/571539/comments/9
does not work as the flash plugin seems bad and I can not change tabs or
click on the radio buttons I need. (yes, another bug, but this is a
  reason not a report).

Note also this is only in FF 3.6.3 as the cam settings widget on adobe's
  official widget at
  http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager06.html
does not work under the latest chrome. (also another bug)

  thank God for dual boot
