I ran apport twice, once with current Lucid Kernel, once with
KernelMainlineBuild kernel (2.6.35.999).

** Description changed:

  The ath9k wifi driver provided by linux-backports-
  modules-2.6.31-19-generic does not work properly: frequent
  desassociation and packet loss make the connection hardly usable.
  
  The connection is frequently desassociated, as seen in the extract of syslog attached as syslog.txt.
  Lot of packets are lost (~30%) as seen in attached ping.txt.
  iwconfig.txt attached also.
  
  The version ath9k is seen in attached modinfo.txt. (srcversion of the module is   918698AEA3CBE61D0E996E6)
  I am using network-manager.
