Hi Earl, it appears that the BIOS is definitely not great. Especially
the _WAK method being a bit screwy:

"Reserved method must return a value (_WAK)"

Can you run:

sudo acpidump > acpidump.dat

and attach acpidump.dat to the bug. I will disassemble it and see what
the _WAK method is doing.
