I'm pretty sure I tried at least one pae enabled kernel at the time of
my comment #20 (-server was pae enabled? anyways I also tried to switch
to 64GB support by hand-compiling a kernel also)... by the way I also
tried 64 bit ubuntu, but it also saw only ~3GB of my memory... maybe
it's time to try lucid64 also.
