DE: Xfce 4.6

*** Expected behavior ***
Wireless doesn't fail (seemingly) at random

*** Actual behavior ***
Wireless does fail (seemingly) at random with seemingly different causes (Microcode HW errors detected, Microcode SW errors detected, BSM uCode verification failures, AP reply timeout, ...)

The attached dmesg contains a kernel trace of one of the failures. Relevant actions during that period
#   0s Booted with hardware-kill-switch (on) => wifi off
#  66s deactived hardware-kill-switch (off) => wifi on, but fails
# 309s activated kill-switch (on) => wifi off

** Affects: linux (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
