it seems like I shall install the current Mainline Kernel for testing, 
correct?
That's fine. But with "testing" you refer to "just try it" or you want 
me to put special attention to anything special or even run a specific test?

Sorry - you as you notice, you definitively do not have an Ubuntu geek 
on the other side ;-)
