Toshiba A210 laptop is not waking up from Suspend.

Entering Suspend seems to work fine, and the laptop behaves as expected.

The problem is with the return: Returning laptop from Suspend mode
produces some disk activity, but does not activate screen. The screen
remains blackened out completely. Additionally, the system remains
frozen, all keyboard entries / mouse movements seem ineffectual. This
includes CTRL-ALT-DEL. Equally, there is no mouse cursor.

No mitigation uncovered. Only solution is a cold power shutdown /
reboot.

This fault is observed consistently at each attempt (three so far).
