[Bug 577116] Re: upgrade to 10.04 LTS doesn't display greeter

Ubuntu 10.04 LTS was completely unusable. I had to use a console to log
in, start X, use another console to log in as me, start some
panels...Then firefox, thunderbird, vmware, openoffice wouldn't work for
lack of a library or the wrong version of a library.

After a month of waiting for any kind of help, and virtually no response
to bug reports, I've switched to Fedora. (OpenSuSE 11.3 wouldn't work
either.)  Fedora is working, and so am I.
