[Bug 592620] [NEW] Cdrom tray blocked after booting. Bug only in Lucid

I have on my (old) PC two cdrom (scsi) drives. Both still working OK on Karmic. However, after booting Lucid I face the following problem:
- One of the drives (the read-only one) is still working fine
but ...
- The tray of other drive (a Plextor read/write) gets blocked once I am logged into Ubuntu.

I cannot manage to open the tray neither manually (i.e. by pushing the
front button) nor by issuing mount/eject commands from the shell (not
even by issuing scsi specific start/stop/eject commands).

At power on. while the Bios is being launched Lucid is booting  I have
no problem in manually opening and closing my Plextor's tray. It is only
after logging into Lucid that the Plextor tray mechanism stops reacting.

MountManager shows both cdrom drives exactly in the same state as sr0
(the one that works OK) and sr1 (the only that is blocked)
