Public bug reported:
Something weird happened to my machine after upgrading to kernel
2.6.31-22. The cd-rom automatically ejected a cd after booting with the
disc still spinning. It happened twice already and the first time the
disc almost leapt out of the tray. It's not a regular occurence, the
second time was about a few days after. It has never happened in any of
the older kernels.
Specs
AMD 64 bit Ubuntu (Gnome desktop) on desktop PC
LG CRD 8402B Internal 40x CD-ROM Drive

Perhaps it's a combination of new kernel and old hardware? Can anyone
confirm this.
