[Bug 591707] [NEW] After upgrade lucid -> maverick eth0 interface is gone

Public bug reported:

Upgrade was made by replacing s/lucid/meverick/ in sources.list and then
aptitude update + dist_upgrade.

After reboot, eth0 was gone (no eth1 neither). You must know I have no
Network Manager installed.
