I am also having similar issues that seem to be somewhat mitigated by
disabling wireless, turning off power management, then turning wireless
back on.  However, that being said, I am still seeing outrageous latency
(generally .9ms - 2.5ms, but spiking up to 300ms for several trips) on
connections to my local (192.168.*.*) network which happens in both Auto
DHCP and Manual Settings modes.
