Public bug reported:
The boot process stop with this lines:
ACPI: Power Button [PWRB]
processor LNXCPU:00: registered as cooling_device0
processor LNXCPU:01: registered as cooling_device1
processor LNXCPU:02: registered as cooling_device2
processor LNXCPU:03: registered as cooling_device3
Serial: 8250/16550 driver, 4 ports, IRQ sharing enabled
serial8250: ttyS0 at I/O 0x3f8 (irq = 4) is a 16550A
00:0a: ttyS0 at I/O 0x3f8 (irq = 4) is a 16550A
ACPI: PCI Interrput Link [LNKA] enabled at IRQ 19
serial 0000:01:06.0: PCI INT A -> Link[LNKA] -> GSI 19 (level, low) -> IRQ 19
Ubuntu 10.04 LTS i386 works fine, but the AMD64 boot hangs in this message.
I can't post the info about the AMD64, because any cheat parameters don't work.
Tried: acpi=off, acpi=ht, irqpoll, pci=nomsi, noapic, nolapic,
acpi=force
Already tried memtest. No errors in memory.
Nothing solved, and I don't have response from keyboard. Only a blinking
cursor. I use a Microsoft Wireless Desktop 2000 as Mouse and Keyboard.
I've put a PS/2 Keyboard, but no success.
Tried to change parameters inside the BIOS disabling Serial,
enabling/disabling Virtualization, Cool'n'Quiet, ACPI, APIC, APM,
choosing Default Settings from BIOS. No success too.
My specs:
* AMD Athlon II X4 630 2.8GHz
* 4GB DDR2-800
* ASUS M2N68-AM SE2
* XFX Radeon HD4650 1GB DDR2
Windows Vista & 7 64bits works fine.
Attachments are coming. I'm gonna get system info in Ubuntu x86. If I
can post a photo and a video demonstrating the problem, i'll post here.
Thanks.
