[Bug 586996] Re: Samsung NC10 running 10.04 won't resume after suspend

On updated kernel (linux-image-2.6.34-999-generic), still failed
suspend/resume test (sudo bash /usr/share/checkbox/scripts/suspend_test
--full). Computer failed dbus and failed to reawaken itself when
necessary. I awoke the computer for the first few tests and then
canceled the tests because the computer was not waking itself back up.

Outside of the suspend/resume test, however, the computer is resuming
well after the kernel update. Functionally, it works normally (suspends
and resumes normally when under AC and battery power) but cannot awaken
itself during the suspend/resume test. Here are the test results:

*** TEST 1 -- suspend triggered via dbus message
*** please ensure your AC cord is attached
*** machine will suspend for 20 seconds
*** press return when ready


SUSPEND FAILED, did not go to sleep

*** TEST 2 -- suspend with AC disconnected
*** please ensure your AC cord is detached
*** machine will suspend for 20 seconds
*** press return when ready


*** TEST 3 -- suspend with AC connected
*** please ensure your AC cord is attached
*** machine will suspend for 20 seconds
*** press return when ready


*** TEST 4 -- loss of AC while suspended
*** please remove the AC cord while the machine is suspended
*** machine will suspend for 20 seconds
*** press return when ready


*** TEST 5 -- return of AC while suspended
*** please insert the AC cord while the machine is suspended
*** machine will suspend for 20 seconds
*** press return when ready


*** TEST 6 -- battery drain during suspend
*** calculates overall power drain during a long-term suspend
*** please ensure your AC cord is detached
*** machine will suspend for 20 minutes
*** press return when ready


before: 4800 mWh
after: 4600 mWh
consumed: 200 mW
sleep seconds: 25233 sec
overall usage: 28 mW

*** TEST 7 -- 30 iteration variable delay suspend/resume stress test
*** please ensure your AC cord is attached
*** machine will suspend for 20 seconds
*** NOTE: there will be no further user interaction from this point
*** press return when ready

wait for 60 seconds
delay 58 ...
wait for 58 seconds
delay 56 ...
wait for 56 seconds

Will suspend test due to failue to automatically reawaken.
