    MOTU will not be able to change kernel source. They will defer to the Ubuntu Kernel Team. I have already spoken with my colleagues on the team. The simple fix is, give me what I have requested and I will send the bug onward. Your LoCo teams should be able to tell you the same and the MOTU will definitely say the same.
