Sorry but I am not a native English speaker so such misunderstandings are likely to happen.
I don't have data from the kernel crash for now, but if I get it, I will fill another bug.

Concerning this bug, I indeed found a workaround, but I don't think it
is acceptable.

Hardware that works with any other OS should work with Ubuntu Lucid the same way. What is this different ? Why did it fail that I had to reconfigure my wifi router ?
So the issue is still here, sure not high priority, but it requires more investigation and I think to be kept open in case more people have the same problem.
