I'm unable to post the launchpad web site for the bug, so I'm directly emailing this to you.

Hello Jeremy,
Just installed mainline kernel "2.6.34-999-generic #201006020922 SMP Wed
Jun 2 09:30:03 UTC 2010 i686 GNU/Linux" and the bug remains. Absolutely
no change in mouse behavior compared to the default Lucid kernel.
Regards,
Zack.

Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Once you've tested the upstream kernel, please remove the 'needs-upstream-testing' tag. This can be done by clicking on the yellow pencil icon next to the tag located at the bottom of the bug description and deleting the 'needs-upstream-testing' text. Please let us know your results.
