[Bug 610989] [NEW] kernel crashes on boot of 10.4 on Amilo M1405

Public bug reported:

My Fujitsu Amilo M1405 works fine using Ubuntu 9.10.  On upgrading to
10.4, or making a fresh install of 10.4, the kernel crashes on boot.
Xubuntu has the same result.
