Actually are you sure? on my xm with 2.6.35-rc6-dl11

It's coming up as:
ubuntu at beagleboard:~$ mount | grep -v none | grep -v proc
/dev/mmcblk0p2 on / type ext4 (rw,errors=remount-ro)
/dev/mmcblk0p1 on /boot/uboot type vfat (rw)
