Confirming
# GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="acpi_osi=Linux"

Will enable the keyboard arrows.
Will enable automatic brightness adjustment when AC is unplugged/plugged in.

Software modifications (power profile gui slider) still does not work.
I don't know why it did not work for me last time, I was probably doing something different...
