<user>@<system>:~$ lsb_release -rd
Description:	Ubuntu 9.04
Release:	9.04
<user>@<system>:~$

When tuning on the touchpad on my notebook, the "=" repeats itself
untill i press the backspace.

For example,

I now press the on/off button of my mousepad/touchpad: =================================
After the last "=" sign, i pressed the backspace button.
This is the onlyway to stop the "=" sign from repeating. and its only there when i turn on the mousepad/touchpad.

The bug is only present in the X session.
On the terminal screens it shows [31~ as an char when turning on / off the mousepad/touchpad.
