[Bug 609464] [NEW] Suspend to ram crashes

Public bug reported:

Suspend to ram stops the disk and turns the screen black (backlight
still on) but does not correctly put the computer in standby. It is
impossible to wake up the computer. After reboot the network interfaces
are deactivated. This problem occurs with the 2.6.32-24-generic kernel
while standby works flawlessly with the 2.6.32-21-generic kernel.
