Well, in Xorg.0.log it says:

(EE) Jul 17 12:25:31 NVIDIA(0): Failed to initialize the NVIDIA kernel module. Please see the
(EE) Jul 17 12:25:31 NVIDIA(0):     system's kernel log for additional error messages and
(EE) Jul 17 12:25:31 NVIDIA(0):     consult the NVIDIA README for details.

So the kernel log is the next place to look.
