For Megavideo, as weird as it sounds, it seems that the connection stops
after a couple of seconds after fullscreening. When watching without the
fullscreen, I have not noticed that the connection stops.

** Summary changed:

- Wired connection stops sometimes on some websites
+ Wired connection stops on some websites (mostly when playing videos)

** Description changed:

This bug first happened after upgrading from Karmic to Lucid. So far, it
has concerned only the wired connection and not the wifi.

Sometimes, when browsing the Internet on Firefox with a wired connection
the connection stops. I don't have the problem when browsing in all
websites. It usually occurs when trying to watch videos (Youtube and
- more often Dailymotion). The problem often occurs when I am reading RSS
- feeds on Netvibes. It seems to occur also when loading big images.
+ more often Dailymotion. Megavideo as well). The problem often occurs
+ when I am reading RSS feeds on Netvibes. It seems to occur also when
+ loading big images.

I have tried with Chrome and the problem occurs too; leading to the
conclusion that it's unlikely to be Firefox-specific.

I have switch back and forth between gnome network manager and Wicd and
the problem occurs too; leading to the conclusion that it's unlikely to
  be any network manager-specific.

I have noticed this bug in about 4-5 different places, so it is unlikely
to be a localized bug (bad interaction between Ubuntu and a paticular
  network provider)
