[Bug 603422] Re: screen goes blank and monitor repeatedly tries to initialize

After a repeat occurance whilst music was playing, it seems that it was
a total crash. As well as I could tell from the absence of visual data,
all services failed, and a purple ubuntu screen flashed with 1 orange
dot and 5 white dots before the manual powerdown finished.
