Btw, given that the issue shows up as a regression between two kernel
versions, that pretty much points to this being a kernel bug rather than
xorg.  Refiling.

(Btw, when you run into problems like these, that seem to be narrowed to
the kernel, please do go ahead and file directly to the kernel, I guess
there's not really a need to go through xorg with these each time.)
