[Bug 552316] Re: ubuntu 10.04 will not shutdown

I've installed Ubuntu GNU/Linux 10.04 (Lucid Lynx) in 5 computers and 3
of them are affected by this bug:

a) A clean installation: shutdown or restart menu options are ignored. In a terminal, work both commands: "sudo halt" and "sudo reboot".
b) An upgrade from Ubuntu 9.10: shutdown or restart menu options are ignored SOMETIMES. In a terminal, work both commands: "sudo halt" and "sudo reboot".
c) An upgrade from Ubuntu 8.04: shutdown or restart menu options are ignored. In a terminal, work both commands: "sudo halt" and "sudo reboot".
