Steps to reproduce
1) Install the latest 2.6.35.7.8 kernel
2) Reboot
3) From Synaptic remove the previous 2.6.35.6.9 generic image
Expected result
The process should go on flawlessly, without errors etc.

"Kernel Panic" error message pop-ups
