I can confirm that the short term "fix" of the Alps Glidepoint on the HP
Mini 311 still gives edge scrolling and is still recognized as a PS/2
Mouse without any Synaptics functionality in the current 2.6.32-23
kernel.  Is anyone working on a longer term fix for Synaptics to work
properly?  Has this been fixed within 2.6.34 or 2.6.35?
