@Richard Wikberg - I'm sorry to hear that you are still having problems
with your Huawei E169 (E620).

Could you please post the contents of your dmesg file here, along with
the kernel version you are now using?

Please also include the output of lsusb, so that we don't have to scroll
back to find it.

Does the sudo modprobe usbserial vendor=0x12d1 product=0x1001 workaround
work for you?  Note that after applying this workaround you may also
need to manually set the DNS addresses.
