In my Ubuntu Lucid Alpha 2 exist (after hibernation) /usr/share/initramfs-tools/scripts/local-premount/resume  and I did:
$ zcat /boot/initrd.img-2.6.32-10-generic |cpio -t|grep resume
conf/conf.d/resume
42473 blocks
scripts/local-premount/resume
bin/resume
