[Bug 505455] [NEW] Wifi card not recognized after update to linux 2.6.31-17

Public bug reported:

After the upgrade to linux 2.6.31-17 that come with other package
update, I rebooted the PC (Dell Latitude E6400) and the wifi was not
recognized any more. The ifconfig command show no wlan0 interface.

When I try to boot on  linux 2.6.31-14 that worked well before, the wifi
is not recognized. I can't use it on any kernel. The ethernet interface
is OK.

The wifi chip is :

Intel Corporation Wireless WiFi Link 5100

lsmod show that the driver iwlagn is loaded. I don't see errors in dmesg
but I am not a specialist.
