[Bug 528727] [NEW] closing konqueror/foxit reader/opera causes desktop to change to default gnome theme

Public bug reported:

Definitely used to occur whenever I closed konqueror (until I uninstalled it)
just happened this time with closing either Opera or Foxit reader (Qt apps???)
All style information other than window decoration appears to be lost so gives default gnome theme, including annoying binging noise, panels turn grey etc.
Logging out and in fixes it
