Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: initramfs-tools

I get hit by this bug. It seems to be the same as debian bug 563590
(related to bash 4.1 & newer Xorg if i understood the desc properly)

I am using the xorg-edgers on top of lucid and got hit by the bug
several times while upgrading

Workaround:
  1) sudo rm /var/lib/dpkg/info/console-setup.postinst
  2) re-run: sudo aptitude safe-upgrade

The workaround lets the process continue but i dont know if that is a
sane way of handling this.
