Public bug reported:
This happened at some point with ndiswrapper. Without ndiswrapper the
whole system is much more stable, with it, I get a stack of crashes, but
without it I get no internet.
By crashes I mean the system freezes, though applications can be opened.
Opening a new terminal, or changing to a different TTY I can't get a
prompt, as if it can't connect to the process which serves the TTYs. I
also can't get any internet connection, or any connection to other
services.
This is exactly the error I have previously experienced with Lucid.
