I'm having trouble with this PC.  It's a Viglen Omnino, or a Clevo
L297u.  The only LiveCD that will boot to a usable Desktop was Ubuntu
8.10.  8.04, 9.04 (I think) and 10.04 all booted to scrambled,
flickering lines, even in Safe Graphics modes (vga=771 on 10.04).  So I
installed 8.10 and I'm attempting to make my way through all the
upgrades.  I'll run Checkbox / Hardware Testing when I get to 10.04.
