[Bug 550850] Re: compiz exits with radeon error

After reading the comments I feel this is related to

I also recover by running /usr/bin/metacity --replace from an icon I
have placed in the panel.

I have tried using latest kernel 2.6.35-17-generic
from sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kernel-ppa/pre-proposed

but still get this problem

[drm:radeon_cs_ioctl] *ERROR* Failed to parse relocation -12!
