Public bug reported:

I am booting today's daily from a USB stick. Sometimes it gets so bad
that udevd crashes early in the boot, but this time it booted to the
desktop.

I was also booting an iso on the USB stick directly with loopback. I
think it got even worse then.

This also happened on a Pentium D desktop with 2GB RAM, 32 bit as well.
I have verified the md5sum of the iso on the USB stick, and this time I
am booting with the iso unpacked as normal by USB creator.

I have installed recent Maverick kernels in my normal hard-drive Lucid
installations without seeing this.
