Public bug reported:

just running the new 15.16 kernel on Maverick Meerkat that was kept back
while reporting this bug on the new 15.16 kernel
system not responding well at all,
had to force power down
and back to same reporting on old kernel,
maybe try new kernel and see if that gets repeatable...

apt-get install mutt
then suggested
urlview
etc...

but that didn't complete
and google chrome updated in same boot session

had done some sugar-jhbuild and ubuntu sugar remix
plus ppa stuff...
other than that, not much 8-/
