I made a clear install of Lucid Ubuntu Desktop 32bit on my Acer Aspire One 532H-2Db.
And i had a touchpad tab in system preferences mouse right after install.
But when i installed all the updates and rebooted my netbook - the tab has disappeared.
Now works only vertical scroll and mouse pointing.

Checked it in Kubuntu 10.04 - all the same. Right after i booted into
freshly installed OS - i could tune my touchpad - horiz scroll, circular
scroll worked flawlessly. But after "sudo apt-get upgrade" - my settings
have disappeared and on the Touchpad settings tab in KDE was smth. like
"No touchpad devices found" (unfortunately i don't remember the exact
phrase)
