I'm afraid I don't actually reboot much.  I hate losing so much state.
I have not had the chance to get on a mainline kernel.

Of interest though is that I have not been seeing the problem as much
any more.  I'm not sure but it seem the version of firefox with the
separate process for flash has helped.  (plugin-container)  On the
occasion were there seems to be a sound problem after waking the system,
I can kill the container process and reload the pages that were using
flash.  For me, I'm going to call this fixed.
