You have been subscribed to a public bug:

The have a copy of 64-bit Jaunty (Ubuntu 9.04). When I have my Airlink AWLH3025 wireless card in its PCI slot, the boot crashes/hangs/locks up, as you prefer to define it.
I tried this several times, at first just letting it go as normal, and X would begin to start (X-esque background and mouse pointer appear), then nothing. I tried booting with some of the additional options, nosplash, etc, no help. I subsequently switched to a console (Alt-F2) during boot, and saw much information displayed, some about traces, etc, and the same result - the system was unusable, ctrl-alt-del did nothing, only a press of the computers 'reset' button could save it.
I pulled the card out, and it booted up and worked great, as it previously had.

Relatedly? My 9.04 install works fine with the card in, but i can't
detect it or use it. (I could with 8.04)
